Resident Evil: Afterlife Set For 2010

It may be old news to some but yet another Resident Evil film is on its way and is set for a 2010 release date.

Resident Evil is one of those movie franchises that you either love or despise, it's so bad that it's good. But if they were so terrible the studios wouldn't keep coming back for more and they'd just be straight to DVD sequels relegated to a Resi fan's collection.

I actually don't mind the movies, they're not fantastic, but they are watchable and I'm becoming more and more of a Milla Jovovich fan. I've always thought she was hot (no big surprise there!), ever since The Fifth Element, and she's definitely history's biggest female action star by now and I applaud her for her kick ass efforts. Although the movies don't really follow the video games from which the series spawned they do occasionally include famous game characters or bad guys and that's where it sometimes hits the mark. I looks like the newest movie will have another bunch of well known names in it too.

Resident Evil: Afterlife will be written and supposedly directed by Paul W.S. Anderson and will star Milla in the main role of Alice. The rumours right now are that Jensen Eckles will play Leon S Kennedy, Jason O'Mara will play Albert Wesker, Austin Peck will play Kevin Ryman and Johnny Messner will play Chris Redfield.

Über milf and all round female action star Milla Jovovich.
